Background
We have had a working relationship with JCB for 12 years. During that time we have undertaken a lot of communications projects, all with the overall message that JCB is a global company.
Part of the method for increasing this perception has been for the company to run a series of worldwide conferences, linked to the major global construction industry exhibitions.
The conferences bring together 1000 dealers and are a platform for demonstrating the scale of JCB as well as delivering some key business messages and challenges.
Our role
For the last six worldwide conferences we have worked as part of the marketing team to define the conference theme and to develop and produce the conference content.
We wrote the keynote speech for the CEO and other major platform speeches. We coordinated visual material – slides and video – writing video scripts and supervising filming.
We edited and checked content for all supporting speeches to ensure consistency with the overall theme.
We coached the conference presenters and worked with the conference producers to ensure a smooth and entertaining presentation.

What else did we do?
For JCB we have managed content for other internal and external presentations including major product launches. We have taken the role of Interim Director of Communications during critical periods and supported the press office by providing on-the-ground resources when required.
